Music was composed and recorded for two major productions at Dundee Rep – Shakespeare’s “The Winter’s Tale” and the pantomime “Cinderella” by Stuart Paterson. The former may well have been the start of Steve’s obsession with unusual percussion – the show began with the sound of two wok lids and a fruit bowl. He has also appeared in two other shows at the Rep as a musician but not composer – “Jack and the Beanstalk”, and “Monkey”, a co-production with Scottish Dance Theatre.
A moody track from “The Winter’s Tale”, featuring soprano saxophone, gongs and drums.
One of three dances in the ballroom in “Cinderella” – a tango later adapted for the group WonderWinds.
